The Rock Creek Area Community Projects Board, a 501C3 non-profit corporation, purchased the former Rock Creek School in 2007 and converted it to a multi-faceted Community Center. It also houses The Redstone Schoolhouse, a daycare center opened in 2008 and may be contacted at 440-563-3315. It provides child care for infants, preschool,and school age children. Oassis also provides before and after school programs, along with tutoring. The community center offers yoga, baseball, softball, and basketball clinics.

The projects board is a non-profit corporation seeking help, financially or otherwise, to keep this Civil War era facility operating.The Board has received endorsements from political and business leaders throughout the State and County.
